This last year, along with Priest Ordinations, Dharma Heart Zen brought forth Chelsea True Meikyo Kogen Luminous Mirror Ancient Source as a Lay Entrusted Teacher. We welcome and celebrate Chelsea in taking her Dharma seat as a Lay Entrusted Teacher! 

As a teaching path, Lay Entrustment has its roots in the stories of the great awakened lay people throughout Buddhist history, such as Vimalakirti, Laymen Pang and family.  Lay Entrustment is an acknowledgment of long time practice, understanding, devotion and the ability of all persons to enter deeply into the Buddha’s way while remaining in the world. 

We support and encourage Chelsea as she continues to uplift and inspire the Sangha.
